UFC'er Chimaev crasht met dure auto tegen slagboom

Chimaev kreeg de auto naar verluidt tijdens een bezoek in januari 2021 door Kadyrov aan Chimaev geschonken. De Tsjetsjeense leider geeft vaker dure auto's weg aan vechters, die hij als echte krijgers ziet zoals voormalig UFC lichtgewicht kampioen Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Hoewel Chimaev het nieuws niet heeft bevestigd, indiceert het Tsjetsjeens nieuwsbericht dat Chimaev achter het stuur moet hebben gezeten.
